Insurance Assessments and Reports

Micro Plus Computers work very closely with many insurance companies throughout the UK and we also act as repair centre for some of the biggest.

This puts us in a great position to be able to assess any PC, laptop, tablet or netbook that has been dropped, smashed or had liquid damage.

Bring your damaged items to any of our branches and for only £25 we will assess the damage and make a report to your insurance company to either repair or replace the item as is appropriate. Most insurance companies will then allow you to add this £25 to the cost of your claim so the cost to you will be nothing!

The next step in most cases will be for your insurance company to ask for a quote for the repair or replacement of the item; as part of the report we will provide you with the repair costs or a suitable replacement. This means that your claim can be completed quickly and efficiently.

We keep many spare parts in stock for laptop screen replacements, hard drive replacement, keyboard replacement and DC power jack socket replacement so repairs can usually be completed as soon as we have authorisation from the insurance company

Often some of the larger insurance companies will try and impose their choice on you for a replacement item but by telling them you want to deal with Micro Plus they will often pay us directly meaning you can choose any product to the value of the claim (or more if you wish to add your own money) from our shops or thousands more from the Micro Plus Online Shop.
